Flaws and All

I'm a train wreck in the morning
I'm a bitch in the afternoon
Every now and then without warning
I can be really mean towards you

I'm a puzzle yes indeed
Ever complex in every way
And all the pieces aren't even in the box
And yet you see the picture clear as day

I don't know why you love me
And that's why I love you
You catch me when I fall
Accept me, flaws and all
And that's why I love you
And that's why I love you
And that's why I love

I neglect you when I'm working
When I need attention I tend to nag
I'm a host of imperfection
And you see past all that

I'm a peasant by some standards
But in your eyes I'm a queen
You see potential in all my flaws
And that's exactly what I need

I don't know why you love me
And that's why I love you
You catch me when I fall
Accept me, flaws and all
And that's why I love you
And that's why I love you
And that's why I love you

Don't know why you love me
And that's why I love you
Catch me when I fall
Accept me flaws and all
And that's why I love you
And that's why I love you
And that's why I love you
You, you, you

Happy Teachers Day Malaysian Educators!

Today is the day when all teachers in Malaysia would hear their students wishing them
'Happy Teachers Day teacher =D. I love you"

The history behind it is the announcement of Razak's Report 1956.

Here's something cute to share with all you educators out there.
This song might be sung by Indonesian kids but the lyrics are beautiful, sweet and simple.

Terima Kasih Guruku

pagiku cerahku
matahari bersinar…
ku gendong tas merahku di pundak…

slamat pagi semua
ku nantikan dirimu
di depan kelasku menantikan kami..

guruku tersayang
guru tercinta
tanpamu apa jadinya aku…
tak bisa baca tulis
mengerti banyak hal..
guruku terima kasihku…

nakalnya diriku kadang buatmu marah…
namun segala maaf kau berikan..

guruku tersayang …
guru tercinta tanpamu apa jadinya aku…
tak bisa baca tulis mengerti banyak hal…
guruku terima kasihku…

Oh ya, World's Teachers Day is on the 5 October.
And that's my BIRTHDAY!

To all my fellow colleagues & ex-colleagues, HAPPY TEACHERS DAY!
To my teachers
[i do not like calling them my ex coz they are forever my teachers=)]
God Bless All of You =D.
Thank You for all you've done.

*i'm counting my teachers day gifts now....=p

The Day Where Stupidity Meets Righteousness

By now, everyone should know that I'm an English Language teacher.

Concluded the lesson ...

Bell rang....

Teacher : Thank You class

Students : Thank You Teacher

One of the students (a boy) came to the teacher

Student : Cikgu esok cikgu free tak masa rehat?

Translation: Teacher are you free tomorrow during recess?

Teacher : I’m not sure yet. Why?

Student : Saya langsung tak fahamlah cerita ‘The Pearl’ nie teacher. Satu pun tak faham.

Translation: I don’t understand this ‘The Pearl’ story teacher. Not a single thing.

Teacher : Not even a single thing?

Student : Ya

Translation: Yes

Teacher : Why didn’t you tell me when we were doing the lesson few weeks ago?

I did ask whether you understand or not, didn’t I?

I did ask those who have problems to come and see me personally, didn’t I?

You should have told me then.

Exam is next week and you only tell me that

You don’t understand the story now?!

Student : Sebab cikgu ajar dalam Bahasa Inggeris sebab tu lah saya tak faham

Translation: I can’t understand because you taught in English

Teacher : &%$&@$!^^@!*()&)!!!!! (for 2 minutes)

What does he expect?

Of course I teach in English coz it's English Language class....

Don't tell me I should teach English using Tamil language...(T_T)v

If you were an English teacher...what would you do?

By the way, I am known with my ‘SPEAK IN ENGLISH IN MY CLASS’ reputation.

Obviously, this boy doesn’t give a damn ....

Air Asia: The Curse of the Tune Hotel

Labours Day holiday was officially a getaway for me.
I had a ‘Jalan-Jalan Cari Makan Trip’ to Penang with my family.

3 days 2 Nights.
1st night stayed in Butterworth and in Penang for the 2nd night.
The highlight of this trip was of course as I’ve mentioned
....Food Glorious Food!!!!!!!!!!!1

Remember my entry condemning Air Asia last year?
Well, consider this as the SEQUEL of that entry...

We’ve heard how ‘EVERYBODY CAN FLY’ using Air Asia.
We’ve heard how they can deceive their customers by luring us with this tag line
‘FLY TO __________ FOR FREE’ and we could end up paying more than RM100++.
We’ve heard how we should buy our tickets few months prior to the trip date
so that we can get
‘super cheap’ ticket.
Later, we’ve heard that they have hotels and they proudly name them ‘TUNE HOTELS’

However...little that we know that the hotels’ booking system is exactly the same as the flights’.
First come first serve basis.
The earlier you book, the cheaper price you’ll get.
And in the website.....Muaxs! Marvelous!
The rooms look superb! Superb! Superb!

Unfortunately, we didn't book early enough that we had to pay quite an amount of money for our rooms....
Yes, we reserved 5 Air Asia’s Tune Hotel rooms.

Okay...are you ready for this?:

1. Upon arrival we were told that only one car could park at the parking lot
(what? We reserved 5 rooms and only one car could go in?)
2. The lobby is pathetic
3. Went to our rooms and found out that:
a. they have air-cond b. they have hair dryer
c. a queen sized bed (not friendly to those who are 5’8)
d. they have ceiling fans
e. no towels
f. no shampoo
g. no shower gel
h. half transparent bathroom door
i. there’s Wifi
j. there are advertisements all over the room including the toilet
k. no wardrobe only a railing and 2 hangers and...just see the pics and you’ll know4. With a little disappointment, I turned on the air-cond wasn’t working!
5. I tried the hair dryer and it wasn’t working as well!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
6. I never knew that we had to pay extra to use the air-cond, hair dryer and Wifi!!!!!!!!!!!!
7. Air-con charge: RM13++ for 12 hours and RM20++
8. If you want towel, you’ll have to pay RM15 to rent it! was our fault.
We didn’t read the hotel description given in the website.
But still...
This pay-as-you –use system sucks!
5-star sleeping experience at a 1-star price?
Such an irony...

Tune Hotel of Jalan Burmah, Penang had successfully made me sinful
due to excessive cursing ....

If my 1st entry on Air Asia tag line was: Everybody Can Wait
The tag line for this one would be: Everybody Can Curse

Damn Air Asia!

*ad next to the bathroom door

*ad in the toilet

*ad at the bathroom door

*ceiling fan's ad

*this is the ceiling fan

*ad outside our room

*1 hr 00 min left for air-cond and hair dryer (not paid)

*mini queen size bed

*pay-to-use air-cond

*see thru bathroom door -censored

*ad right in front of of our room

*I'm impressed!!!!!!!!!!!!!
